Final Result of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2014

The Staff Selection Commission conducted a Written Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF on 22.06.2014 (Paper-I) and Paper-II on 28.09.2014. Result of Paper-I & Paper-II was declared on 28.08.2014 & 09.01.2015 respectively. All candidates who qualified in PST/ PET and who were found FIT in Medical / Review Medical Examination, qualified for Interview, without any cut-off marks in Paper I +Paper II.

QUALIFICATION: The applicant should possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university. He must have passed matriculation with Hindi as one of the subject and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets). The applicant should fulfill the condition of qualification on the last date of receipt of applications i.e. 02.05.2015 (last date of Registration step-II).

For every wrong answer, 1/5th mark would be deducted. The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit.

Thereafter, out of the total candidates who qualify the written examination, the number of candidates as decided by Hon’ble the Central Recruitment Committee may be called for the computer proficiency test i.e. to access the proficiency of candidates in operation of computer (word processing and spreadsheets), which is mandatory but the marks of this test would not be counted towards the final merit as this test is only of qualifying in nature. Computer Proficiency Test shall comprise two parts. In part-I i.e. word processing test, the candidates will be required to type 300 words in English on computers at the speed of 30 WPM to qualify. In part-II, Candidate must have to obtain minimum 40% marks in spread sheet test to qualify the same. Select List of the qualified candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of merit in written examination.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE The online registration/filling of application forms by the applicants will consist of two steps.
 (i) Registration Step I: Applicant will get his/her Registration ID and password and will print ‘Cash Deposit Receipt’ for deposit of fee in the designated bank (State Bank of India).
 (ii) Registration Step II: Applicant to fill the remaining particulars i.e. uploading of photograph/signature, qualification and fee payment details in the form, then to “LOCK & SUBMIT” the application form.

SSC RECRUITMENT 2015 - SI & ASI CPO EXAMINATION

AGE LIMITS: The post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years. Upper age limit relaxation as per Govt. rules.

PAY SCALE :
Sub-Inspector in CAPFs And Delhi Police (Executive-Male) : The post carries pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200.
Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF: The post carries pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 in PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-.  

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS as on 01.01.2015

A. BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY OR EQUIVALENT.

B. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only:- Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. However the candidate who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV(Motor Cycle and Car) can apply for all other CAPFs posts.

Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I.

Note: The examination will be conducted ON-LINE, if Government approval is received by the Commission. : Only those candidates who secure qualifying marks in Paper I of the written examination, as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, will be shortlisted for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ PST and medical test. Paper-II of shortlisted candidates who qualify in PST/PET will only be evaluated

PHYSICAL ENDURENCE TEST(PET) is MANDATORY FOR THE POST . Candidates will have to undergo PET / MEDICAL Examination. Physical Endurance Test Will NOT CARRY ANY MARKS BUT WILL BE OF QUALIFYING/ELIMINATION NATURE.

MEDICAL EXAMINATION : All the candidates who qualify in the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary. For more information about medical examination  please go through official notification given below.

INTERVIEW : Those who are found fit in the medical examination and qualify in the written examination also will be required to appear in the Interview of 100 marks. Candidates will be called for Interview based on their combined performance in Paper-I and Paper-II.

MODE OF EXAMINATION FEE PAYMENT:
(i)Off-line applications: The candidates should pay the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS)"only .CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. Applications with CRFS not cancelled by the post office will be rejected outrightly.

(ii)On-line applications: The candidates submitting their applications on-line can pay the requisite fee on-line through net-banking/credit cards or debit cards or cash through SBI bank challan.

(iii)Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee, as per rules/instructions of Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
