Territorial Army Recruitment Notification 2017,Join TA as an Officer,Apply Online

The Indian Territorial Army is second line of defense to the Indian Army. Volunteers receive training for few days a year so that they can be prepared in case of emergency. TA is also known for its illustrious list of honorary officers that include Kapil Dev (former Indian cricketer), Mohanlal (Malayalam film actor), Deepak Rao (Indian military trainer), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Indian cricket team captain), Abhinav Bindra (Olympic gold medalist) and Sachin Pilot and Anurag Thakur (politician). 
Applications are invited from gainfully employed young men for an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation as Territorial Army Officers (Non Departmental), based on the concept of enabling motivated young men to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions. You can serve the nation in two capacities – as a civilian and as a soldier. No other option allows you such an expanse of experiences.


·         Nationality : Only male citizens of India.

·         Age Limits : 18 to 42 years on the date of application.

·         Educational Qualifications : Graduate from any recognized university.

·         Physical Standards : A candidate must be physically and medically fit in all respects.

·         Employment : Gainfully Employed.
Note : Serving member of the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/ GREF/ Para Military and like forces are not eligible.


SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS : The Online Registration and Applications can be filed from 01 JUNE 2017 to 30 JUNE 2017 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

HOW TO APPLY: Candidates are required to apply online by using the website Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form (IAF(TA)-9 (Revised) Part-1) have been given on the website

FEE DETAILS : Candidates’ are required to pay a fee of Rs 200/- (Rupees two hundred only). Candidates should note that payment of examination fee can be made only through the modes prescribed at website. Payment of fee through any other mode is neither valid nor acceptable. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee/mode shall be summarily rejected. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

SBI releases admit cards for SBI PO main exam on June 4; download it here -

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the admit cards (call letters) of main exam for the recruitment of probationary officers (PO) in the state-run bank on its official website.
Candidates can download it by clicking here. The call letters can be downloaded until June 6, 2017.The bank has also released an acquaint yourself booklet for the exam which can be downloaded by clicking here.
The online main examination will have objective tests for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks. The objective test will be of three hours duration having four sections for total 200 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates should qualify in each of the tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the bank.
The descriptive test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks will be a test of English language (letter writing and essay). Candidates are required to qualify in the descriptive test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the bank. Descriptive test of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the objective tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test. There will be a penalty for wrong answers in the objective tests. For each wrong answer one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. There will be no penalty for questions left blank.
The online main exam will be held on June 4, 2017 and its results will be declared on June 19, 2017.
The recruitment notification for 2,313 probationary officers in the state-run bank was issued on February 6, 2017.
